100M:

100M Fiber optic converters are a type of fiber-optic converter. They typically have an input and output for 100 Mbits/s data which has been encased in electrical signals, making them suitable to be used as the primary conversion devices at both ends of an Ethernet connection.

 

1000M:

1000M fiber optic converters are smart optical components that convert 1000 Mbps data to light signals, and then transmit them over distances of about 100 meters. This is useful for high-capacity transmission where the distance between transmitter and receiver exceeds 200m. The converter usually consists of a LED (Light Emitting Diode) driver chip that converts electrical signals to light signals.

 

10000M Adaptive:

10000M converters are fiber optic devices that combine the functions of transmission and reception, as well. They can be used in applications when both transmitting and receiving signals. In comparison to 1000M/2500M converters, 10000Ms have higher power handling capability for longer distances of up to 16000 meters or more at reduced sensitivity levels.

They are also used in telecommunication environments where a single device is expected to support multiple standards. A fiber optic converter can be used to convert a computer's video signal so that it can be transmitted over an optical fiber. The electronic light inside the computer is converted into an electrical current and then back into the light, which transmits data as pulses of red, green, or blue laser beams at specific frequencies tuned to match the capabilities of a given type of receiver with digital electronics that turn these three colors (or wavelengths) into their respective RGB pixels on the screen. Fiber optics offer several advantages over copper cables: no electromagnetic interference (EMI), less susceptibility to outside noise sources due to its immunity from electric fields, higher maximum transmission distances for same-size conductors (due in part because they are not subject to skin effect distortion); lower attenuation rates; and immunity to electromagnetic pulses (EMP).

 

Factory Automation:

Fiber optic converters in factory automation are used to transmit data from one device or system to another, often without the need for a hardwire connection. The technology is especially useful when devices that cannot be linked together through an Ethernet cable must communicate with each other. For example, if you use a manufacturing robot and want it to work on multiple machines at once, but they're not all located next to each other, then fiber optic converters can be installed between them so they can exchange information about what needs doing.

 

Transportation Systems:

The fiber optic converter will be used in transportation systems for various reasons. Some of the uses include increasing vehicle safety and security, better management control of traffic accidents, efficient operation of vehicles, and more responsiveness to changes in road conditions. The data gathered through these converters can also provide information about driving habits which can help improve fuel consumption.
