Headlamp Washer Systems are used to clean the headlights of cars. They can be fitted as a factory-fit accessory or installed by car owners themselves. In some cases, these nozzles protrude outwards like small insect feelers while more modern designs use concealed plumbing with integrated spouts hidden within slits cut into rubber moldings around each corner of the headlamp's protective lens.

Pumps use water to remove as the "carrier" to move dirt, grime, and debris off of a vehicle's headlamps. This method is often used with other techniques such as cloths or brushes, in order to ensure that all surface areas are reached.

Pumps can also be combined with chemical liquids for an added cleaning boost; these chemicals may include degreasers, soaps, and oils. The process which they use includes spraying on the water followed by using their scrubbing pads (or any type of pad) to clean the area without having to touch it at all-only getting close enough when necessary due to size constraints.

 

Nozzle:

The nozzle is a device with a small opening that can be used to direct fluid streams or sprays. A nozzle's diameter usually ranges from about 0.25 mm, for use in aerosol spray cans, to about 800 mm (31 inches) as part of the discharge in some waterfalls and fountains. The ratio between length and width also changes accordingly: most nozzles have an aspect ratio of at least ten; i.e., they are long and thin. Often there is the taper on one end, called a point or tip which aids in directing the flow outwards onto surfaces more uniformly than would be achieved by a larger cross-section without tapering.

Nozzles are used in many applications, such as cooling towers and heat exchangers to direct water flow through the system. Nozzles also allow for covering a large area with crop protection chemicals or fertilizers and can be adjusted to apply just the right amount of pressure on plants when watering them.
