Carbonated bottled waters are also available in flavors like fruit, citrus, and coconut. Carbonated water is a type of bottled water that has had carbon dioxide added to it before being sealed in its bottle. It starts out as regular drinking water which is then charged with CO₂ gas under high pressure, making it fizzy like soda or sparkling wine.

 

Flavored Water Bottle:

Flavored bottled water is becoming popular in recent years because not only does it provide refreshment to consumers but also a delicious taste experience with different flavors such as orange, grapefruit, lemon-lime, or exotic fruit tea. The flavorings used for this type of bottled water are natural fruit extracts and plant-based flavors. Consumers like using these flavored water bottles as a refreshing drink or to add flavor to their beverages, such as iced tea, lemonade, margaritas, and other cocktails.

 

Still Water Bottle:

Still water is the most common type of bottled water. It is commonly processed by just adding a small number of natural minerals for taste, and no other additives are required. The term "still" refers to how it has not been carbonated or treated with gas that creates bubbles (carbonation).

 

Functional Water Bottle:

Functional bottled water is a type of drinking water that has been enhanced with vitamins, minerals, and other natural ingredients that are claimed to have beneficial effects on health. Functional drinks like these often contain electrolytes due to their hydrating properties. Some examples include enhanced mineral waters, vitamin-infused waters, or energy drink mixers.

Retail Stores:

Bottled water is mostly seen in retail stores as an impulse purchase, due to convenience.
