Caching and Prefetching:

Caching is the process of storing copies of frequently-used data, usually in memories or disk drive space that can be quickly accessed. Prefetching is a form of caching where information from one file or webpage is stored ahead of time to reduce latency when accessing it again later on. With prefetching, users may not need to wait for content if they are looking at something similar.

The CACHE ACK packet contains an acknowledgment from the cache server confirming successful transmission and receipt of this block's contents by the client browser; while the PUSHBACK message alerts caches about out-of-date cached versions (cache poisoning).

 

SSL/TLS Process:

SSL/TLS Process is an internet security protocol that protects data by creating a secure connection between two computers. It works as a way to verify the identity of each party and encrypts information being exchanged over this secured communication channel so it cannot be read or intercepted in transit. SSL/TLS process is used on every website with personal, financial, medical, or any other sensitive information - from online banking sites, shopping malls to dating websites.

The most important thing about SSL/TLS process is that all traffic between the client (browser) and server should always be encrypted and authenticated using a private key exchange handshake when they first make contact without relying on insecure cleartext communications for negotiating cryptographic keys. This guarantees both privacy protection (data confidentiality) and data integrity (data authenticity).
