Extrusion Grade CPVC is a chlorinated PVC material with high tensile strength, rigidity, and hardness. It has good chemical resistance to most common acids, alkalis, and salts. Extrusion Grade CPVC can be used in annealing applications such as electrical insulation of power cable casings or for the production of insulating devices for transformers and capacitors. Its excellent physical properties make it the preferred pipe grade when designing water supply systems that are exposed to aggressive environments or severe weather conditions (such as coastal regions).
