PVC washers ensure tight seals around tubing where leakages could occur for example from a clamp loosening which would cause blood spillage onto the floor. In addition, they are also widely used to fill tubes with fluids like a saline solution when administering injections, etc., ensuring no air bubbles are present within these needles before injection into the patient’s vein.
Oil & Gas:
The oil and gas industry makes use of PVC Washers. The primary use is for the protection of equipment against corrosion, rusting, or wear due to exposure to high pressures or fluids in pipelines. It also helps with reducing friction by filling gaps between different parts that fit together tightly. This reduces heat buildup which can lead to ruptures and other malfunctions within pipes such as water breaks from joints.
