Digital mammography:
Digital mammography involves an X-ray tube and detector which produce an electronic signal of varying intensity levels to create a digitized x-ray pixel. This type of imaging technique has been used since the 1980s and it can provide more detailed information than analog mammography because there are no physical photographs involved.
