Constant Wattage Electric Trace Heating:
Constant wattage Electric Trace heating is made up of a series of parallel thermopiles that are arranged in an electrical circuit. Constant wattage electric trace heaters operate at the same power all times irrespective of temperature changes, thus providing constant damping to any process involving fluid flow or motion. This type can also be connected to other circuits like PLC and HMI through low voltage wires.
Mineral Insulated Electric Trace Heating:
A type of electric resistive heaters that has a heater element made of mineral insulation which is resistant to high temperature. The power supply provides the required voltage for electricity flow where it heats up when current passes through and then transfers the heat energy into an insulated conductor wire (usually copper). To increase efficiency, they are designed with multiple layers of insulation like a vacuum, ceramic, or quartz glass. Series Resistance & Skin Tracing:
Series resistance does not have control over current in skin tracing systems which makes them more difficult for use as well as maintenance purposes.
