Direct Centrifugal Industrial Dryers are the most frequently used type of centrifugal dryer. Direct types have no such devices for cooling blades; instead, they rely on natural convection of heat from the vaporized fluid to cool them down during operation.
Indirect Direct Centrifugal Industrial Dryer:
Indirect Centrifugal Industrial Dryers are an intermediate type of centrifugal dryer that is not as efficient. They use a coolant fluid to provide indirect cooling for rotor blades, and they are most often used when process gas or liquid cannot be heated high enough to supply the heat needed by blade rotors in Direct types. Indirect types have no such devices for cooling the blades; instead, they rely on natural convection of heat from the vaporized fluid to cool them down during operation.
