They come in various sizes - designed according to the size of the student population they serve as well as their age group, which is typically K-12. School buses can be carried by train or bus for long distances before dropping them off at smaller local routes closer to home.



The Motorbus is a type of bus that has an engine. It can be used in public transportation or for other purposes such as school buses, camping vehicles, and sightseeing tours. A motorbus may either have one or two axles, depending on the design specs. The majority of these buses are capable to carry up to 36 passengers at one time with some exceptions reaching 72 seat capacity each.



A trolleybus is a bus that draws power from overhead wires, using the same principles as electric streetcars. It carries more passengers than an ordinary city transit bus not fitted with such equipment, but it cannot be used by people who are unable to climb steep steps or too short for lack of appropriate security arrangements.
