The typical application of the Above 5000-15000, m³/h type is for medium to large factories or hospitals. The equipment produces a nominal air flow rate between 15001 and 20000 cubic meters per hour (m³/hr). These systems typically use a single packaged unit including the condenser, evaporator, cooling coil, and fan coils. A higher pressure drop may be required when installing these units in order to provide static pressure at the point of installation as well as downstream ducts designed specifically for high airflow rates.

 

 

Above 15000 m³/h:

Above 15,000 m³ per hour, these systems are expensive and require a lot more maintenance than the smaller ones. The most common types of above 15,000 m³/hour equipment are the centrifugal fan and axial flow fans which can be used in both heating and cooling applications. These equipment vary from 75 kW to over 2000 kW depending on their size! The cost also varies greatly as well; machinery with less power consumption will have a lower price tag but they may not offer enough airflow or pressure capacity. Centrifugal fans usually come with a cage around the fan to protect it from debris and prevent any spread of dirt.
