This attachment has a long chain with a steel ball on one end that can be raised into the air by two hydraulic cylinders when it’s not being used. When lowered onto something like metal pipes, it will pound them until they are crushed or broken open. They can also be hammered against concrete to break up slabs of road surface, which makes it easier to lay new asphalt tiles over them without any gaps between different pieces of tarmac.

 

Grapple:

A grapple fits onto an excavator's arm and grabs objects from the ground using a steel claw at the end. It can also be fitted to a tractor and used as an attachment for picking up objects like large rocks, logs, or blocks of concrete from fields where they are being put onto trucks so that they can be taken away to a recycling plant.

 

Thumb:

A thumb is basically just another name for this kind of attachment but it’s not quite as popular with heavy equipment operators because it isn't very useful in most situations except when you're dealing with piles of coal or other materials which need sorting into different sizes before storage.

 

Rake:

A rake is a big long blade that attaches to the front of a tractor so it can be driven up and down rows of crops such as corn or wheat which are growing close together on either side of an agricultural field. This allows workers standing next to each other in pairs to hoe row after row without having to constantly turn around to move forward again.

 

Harvester Head:

A harvester head looks like something you might find attached to some kind of farm equipment but it’s actually designed to help heavy-duty vehicles pick up trees by their trunks with its sharp metal teeth before transporting them whole to a processing plant where they will become furniture, paper pulp, wood chips, etc.

 

Tractor Auger:

This device has been specially developed for use with tractors and consists of a long, rotating drum with jagged teeth at the end. It’s used for digging trenches in fields and paddocks to install drainage pipes or cables by pulling them through the ground like an artificial plow.
