Wooden ladders can be used for home construction projects such as painting ceilings, installing light fixtures, and hanging pictures at eye level. Fiberglass Ladder:

A fiberglass ladder is a kind of material that consists of woven fibers with resin binding them together. Fiberglass ladders are very durable and can be used in both industrial and residential settings. They also have the ability to resist heat and certain chemicals better than most common materials such as steel or wood.

Flexible ladders are primarily used for commercial purposes. These include restaurants, schools, and hospitals. A flexible ladder can be used for industrial purposes. They can also be made for indoor use and mounted on the ceiling from where it is lowered through an opening into position with ropes - this type is called a "rope ladder" because there are no rails at all.
