This is designed for research laboratories and university settings, also used in production environments where quality control standards are high or if there's no other option available such as when traveling between locations with different measurements allowed. Industrial Grade:

Industrial-grade flame photometers are designed for use in industrial settings, typically where the laboratory is not located. This type of instrument can also be used to measure colors and other properties with accuracy. For example, it may have a light polarizer feature that eliminates any glare from an irregular surface or different color surfaces on which the sample is placed. The industrial grade is sub-segmented into biochemical manufacturing, oil & gas production (Oil & Gas), pharmaceuticals industry, and other applications.
