The driver will drive through crowds with hoses spraying out from under their cab to spray down adjacent buildings or cars if there are nearby road barriers preventing access. An elevated fire-fighting truck is a type of vehicle that has the capability to raise and lower its height in order to better fight fires. The most common use for an elevated fire-fighting truck is to fight fires in tall buildings, as it can better reach the fire. It also has a faster response time than conventional trucks because of how quickly they can get on top of the building and set up their water hoses for fighting fires.

 

 

Special:

A special fire fighting truck is a unique vehicle used to assist in the extinguishing of fires. Special trucks can be needed for various types of events, such as tractor pulls and drag races where large amounts of fuel are present on-site and at risk of being ignited. Another type of event that requires specialized equipment would be demolition activities where potentially explosive materials may need to be dealt with safely before any kindling catches flame or an explosion occurs.
