Straight Leaf Feeler Gauges:

Straight Leaf Feeler Gauge is a type of feeler gauge that has straight blades, or leaves. It does not have an offset blade that can bend to the left and right edges of the material being measured.

Straight leaf gauges require more tooling and time than other types of gauges do because they don't need adjustment for a variety of sizes due to having only one set angle per size. In contrast, tapered feeler gauges use different angles in order to compensate for how wide each mating part may be at any given point while still maintaining accurate measurement up until its last leaf on either side.

 

Double Ended Gauge:

The Double Ended Gauge is a measuring tool that comes with two sides, one end being for the top edge and another at the bottom. It has an indicator on each side so as to measure gaps between surfaces of small size like those found in electronics devices like semiconductors accurately. The double-ended gauge can be used by placing it over a surface or inserting it into any gap, which helps to determine if there are no air pockets present before assembly.

 

Tapered Feeler Gauges:

Tapered Feeler Gauges are used for measuring the thickness of sheet metal. They measure to a greater depth than straight leaf feelers and have a tapered shape that allows them to be inserted into tight crevices.

Feeler gauges are used in the measurement of plastic sheet material to measure the thickness. A set of feelers is clamped between the jaws and then placed on a sample that needs to be measured. Metal Measuring:

In metal measuring, feeler gauges are used to measure the thickness of a piece of sheet metal. They can be adjusted in thickness by adding or removing different widths from the blades on each side.
