NiTi Endodontic Handpiece

A NiTi endodontic handpiece is a type of device that has the ability to offer greater torque or rotational force. The NiTi endodontic handpieces are also able to provide greater precision in treatment because of the increased torque which allows for less tissue damage.

NiTi endodontic handpieces have a flexible shaft that can move through tight spaces in order to perform root canal treatments without any difficulties. NiTi also provides increased speed and torque which makes these devices ideal for use in the administration of anesthesia.

Micro Endodontic Handpieces

Micro endodontic handpieces are made up of a small, flexible shaft that is able to be inserted into tight spaces in order to perform root canal treatments. This type of device can also provide greater precision due to the torque which allows for less tissue damage. Micro endodontics devices may use light pressure but do not produce vibrations thus reducing the amount of discomfort. Micro endodontic handpieces are used for root canal treatments where even more precision is required, especially in smaller spaces and curved canals. These instruments have a small tip size that allows increased control with less pain to patients as well as reduced trauma from excessive vibration. Micro-instruments also provide better visualization in order to identify the canal entrance.
