The Stripper Column Method is a gas extraction technique that separates the dissolved gases from water using column chromatography. This method can be used to measure some types of dissolved gases, including carbon dioxide and methane in natural or industrial waters. The equipment for this type of measurement includes an air compressor, separating flask with neckpiece adapter, tubing connector kit (adapters), rubber stoppers, and de-gassing tube.
