Organic Chrome Pigment:

Organic pigments are made from organic compounds that have a very low melting point. They can be used for coloring plastics such as polyvinyl chloride or vinyl flooring along with textiles like nylon or wool carpets because they will not burn at high temperatures. Chemical substances cannot dissolve these types of pigments so they are commonly found in automotive paint products where their special properties can be utilized.


Inorganic Chrome Pigment:

Inorganic pigments are made from inorganic compounds that have a high melting point such as metal oxides or salts. They are commonly used for coloring glass and ceramics because they don't oxidize (change color) at high temperatures, which is why they're often found in pots and pans on the stovetop.

On the basis of application, chrome pigments are segmented into chemical, personal care, others (automotive coatings). In chemical, chrome pigments are used for their ability to produce a wide range of colors. It is typically used as a component of the paint to provide whiteness, opacity, and gloss.
