One-direction Type, also known as "single view" systems, generally offer a long-range for detecting contraband in cargo containers.

 

 

Dual-View Type:

A dual-view type cargo container x-ray inspection system is a system that has two cameras to detect the contents of an individual box. One camera takes an image from above while another captures images at eye level, for example, laptops or other hazardous materials which could be concealed in luggage containers and then "hidden" when using just one camera positioned on top of the container. Dual views provide greater accuracy because any hidden items on either surface can cause radiation to scatter into both sensors through the other wall surface.
