They work by absorbing excess fluid from a wound, thereby reducing pain during dressing changes, promoting faster healing of infected wounds due to reduced bacterial exposure, and alleviating patient discomfort.

 

Transparent Film Dressings:

Transparent film dressings are designed to be transparent so that the wound can be monitored without removing it. They are typically waterproof and breathable, with a non-adherent surface for easy removal. Transparent Film Dressings provide protection against bacterial contamination of wounds while allowing them to heal at an optimal rate.

 

Hydrofiber Dressings:

Hydrofiber dressings are made of a mixture of natural and synthetic fibers. They have the ability to absorb large amounts of fluid, which makes them great for both surgical wounds as well as other types that would benefit from drainages such as ulcers and burns.
